Crochet pillow pattern

This WAS the ugliest purple pillow in the world. (I didn't take a pic cuz it was that ugly)

It is super simple to make too. However, as this is my first transcribed pattern, it may have some mistakes. Please forgive me for that! :/

Crochet Neck Pillow *Pattern*

***Make sure before you start to check the length of the pillow and gauge your work, so you know how much yarn you need :)***

I started by making a magic ring (tutorial here: http://www.crochetme.com/forums/p/28917/90379.aspx).
Row 1: ch 1, 4 sc into ring, then pull tight. Sl st into first sc to join (5 sc)
Row 2: ch 1, 1 sc into same space, then 2 sc into remaining 4 sc. sl st into first sc to join. (10 sc)
Row 3: ch 1, 9 sc into remaining stitches, sl st into first sc to join. (10 sc)
Row 4: ch 1, 1 sc into same space, 2 sc in each sc, sl st into first sc to join (20 sc)
Row 5: ch 1, 19 sc into remaining stitches, sl st into first sc to join (20 sc)
Row 6: ch 1, 2 sc into next sc, (sc into next sc, 2 sc into next sc) around. sl st to join (30 sc)
Row 7: ch 1, (sc in each sc) around, sl st to join (30 sc)
Row 8: ch 1, sc into next sc, 2 sc in next sc, (sc into next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, sl st to join (40 sc)
Row 9: ch 1, (sc in each sc) around, sl st to join (40 sc)
Row 10: ch 1, sc into next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, sl st to join (50 sc)
Row 11: ch 1, (sc in each sc) around, sl st to join (50 sc)
Row 12:  ch 1, sc into next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around, sl st to join (60 sc)*
*Continue adding stitches in this pattern until you have the desired width of your pillow.
Rows 13 - Next color change: ch 1, (sc in each sc). Now, instead of slip stitching to join, you are going to put your hook into the first chain space, but instead of pulling the same color yarn through, pull through the new color. Continue your next row as normal. Usually when I get a couple stitches in (make sure you are crocheting over your tails), I like to pull a little on the tails to tighten it a bit.

Keep going in this pattern until you have the desired length, changing colors as frequently or infrequently as you desire. Make sure your finished length is slightly shorter than the actual pillow, so you sort of have to "stuff" the pillow inside it. This will make it fluffier and denser.

For the closing circle of the pillow, simply repeat Rows 1-12. To attach, (please don't be like me and nearly finish before you realize you forgot to put the pillow in....) sew each corresponding stitch together (there should be equal amounts) in whatever way you feel works best for you. I think I just slip stitched them.

Way better than purple.
